The OWHA is often invited to attend various events and panels to record them for posterity. Here, we collect those recordings to continue sharing what we learned at each event.

David speaks about how the Willamette Valley AVA was established and dives into the intricate details of double petitions, nested AVAs, and the effect of the AVA on the wine industry. David finishes his interview by cheersing to 40 years of the Willamette Valley AVA. This was held at Linfield University’s Nicholson Library.

Guest Lectures

Linfield’s Director of The Center for Wine Education, Maria Ponzi, hosts Wildcat Wine Chats with various members of the wine industry. These events are held in Riley Hall and are open to Linfield students, staff, and the public.

This collection also features edited videos of guest lectures for the Fundamentals of Wine course taught at Linfield College. Given Linfield College’s location in the heart of Oregon wine country, Linfield is able to access some of the most prominent experts in the field as a resource for the class.
