This interview is with Bryan and Laura Laing of Hazelfern Cellars. In this interview, the couple talk about choosing to go into wine, how they chose their site, and some of the challenges that came with starting a winery. The couple go on to discuss what their roles are in their winery, Bryan’s winemaking philosophy, and Laura’s business philosophy in running the winery. They also speak about the evolution of Hazelfern cellars, why wine is important to them and some of the things they enjoy with their jobs. Towards the end of the interview, the couple reflect on the future of Hazelfern, and the Oregon Wine Industry at large.
