Anne Root and her daughter Ashley Campanella took on the creation of @edenvalewinery at the turn of the century. Taking possession of the Voorhies Mansion in Medford, the two went to work rebuilding the house, creating a winery, and launching a tasting room. Ashley started working on the hospitality side and then became the winemaker - by necessity, at first - in 2008. Eric Weisinger has been part of the Rogue Valley wine scene for almost his whole life. When his father started @weisingerfamilywinery, he helped plant the vineyard as a child, then came on board as the winemaker after college. After spending some time traveling and making wine abroad, he came back in 2012 as general manager and winemaker and started modernizing the family business. Mike Brunson started making wine in Sonoma when he was still a teenager. After a 30-year career in Sonoma making wines for premium brands and working in custom crush, a chance encounter led him to come to @valleyviewwinery in 2021. Brothers Mark and Mike Wisnovsky came back to run @valleyviewwinery, the brand their father began in the early 1970s in the Rogue Valley. With Mark in charge of the vineyards and Mike selling the wine, the two spoke about their journey so far, the history of their brand and the Rogue Valley wine region, and what comes next. Soléna Andrus Montalieu of @solenaestate and her mother Danielle Andrus were raised in the wine industry. Although trying different avenues, they both found their own passion for wine. Jen Parr of Valli Wines is not currently working in the Oregon wine industry. Although originally from Portland, she is currently a winemaker in New Zealand.
