Soléna Andrus Montalieu of @solenaestate and her mother Danielle Andrus were raised in the wine industry. Although trying different avenues, they both found their own passion for wine. Jen Parr of Valli Wines is not currently working in the Oregon wine industry. Although originally from Portland, she is currently a winemaker in New Zealand. Bruce Felix of Pacific Winemaking, just like many in the Oregon wine industry, did not start out in the wine business. Instead, be began working in petrochemicals and paint. He decided to change paths because "it's nice to drink the final product." Jason Flaig of Northwest Distribution and Storage had a number of paths he wanted to explore before he settled into a company that distributes and stores wine. From medical school to teaching to the court room, Jason had no idea he would be a part of a huge aspect of the Oregon wine industry. We’re excited to be part of Savor next weekend! An incredible group of panelists and wines to enjoy - and a rich Rogue Valley wine history to explore and celebrate. Come join the fun! Brian Zielinski grew up at @scenicvalleyfarms, working on berries and row crops at the family farm as soon as he was able. Though a lot of a hard work, he found joy in the effort, and returned to the farm after college determined to re-create that joy in his growing family.
