Oral History | Viticulture and Oenology
This video features the early wine-growing community and discusses the camaraderie that was present during the early years of making wine in the Willamette Valley. Interviewees discuss sharing equipment with one another, the wine-growing program instituted at the University of California, Davis, as well as the impact that their community had on the wine-growing industry’s global community. The video features interviews with Dick Erath of Knudsen Erath Winery, David Adelsheim of Adelsheim Vineyard, Diana Lett of The Eyrie Vineyards, Myron Redford of Amity Vineyards, Susan Sokol Blosser of Sokol Blosser Winery, and Dick and Nancy Ponzi of Ponzi Vineyards.
