This interview is with Jesús Guillén of White Rose Estate. In this interview, Jesús discusses his journey from having a background in computer science, to finding a passion and appreciation for wine. He also tells the story of how he came to Oregon from Mexico, and the limitations/adversity faced with being an immigrant winemaker. Jesús later discusses his philosophy for creating wine: to evoke memories, and the ways in which he feels diversity can be improved by changing the language and narrative of wine to include minorities to gain better visibility for them.
